Seeds of Hope

Leaf and Star believes that each child is a blessing and a seed of hope for the future.  Every action we take as adults impacts the children that are here and the children yet to come.  Leaf and Star calls for those actions to be mindful and calls for us to stand for the children. 

One of the sacred laws of the Earth is 'nothing shall be done to harm the child'.  The birthright of every child is to be loved, safe and nurtured to grow into their full potential.  Whether we are parents or not, we need to address the legacy we leave for the future generations. 

Current Projects

Voice of the Children is a book written by 9-11 year olds from around the country.  It is the compilation of their responses to 'How would you improve the world?' - and gives many insightful, innovative and moving thoughts.  The concerns of these children on the future of our world should be heard by every adult. 

Sylver's Quest is a story for 6-9 year olds that brings magic, unicorns and adventure together.  This paperback is more than a story - it is a myth that helps the young child to find his/her inner strength.

In response to the current state of childhood depression, a project is underway called Children's Nature.  With the support of UnLtd and the Millenium Fund, this booklet will have practical advice on helping children through this difficult illness.
